spVelo(Genome Biology 2025)做 multi-batch spatial transcriptomics 的 RNA velocity, 是 spatial-velocity 這條線上 TopoVelo 的 sibling,特別處理跨 batch 的 spatial 資料。 目前只從 bookmark(velocity-discourse-2025-2026)收錄,paper 還沒 deep-ingest,physical- time 四軸待補。
What it is
An RNA-velocity method for multi-batch spatial transcriptomic data (Long et al., Genome Biology 2025; spvelo-2025) — a veloVI-based VAE with an MLP expression encoder + a GAT spatial encoder, fused with an MMD batch penalty. A spatial-velocity sibling of TopoVelo.

The key contrast: spVelo uses space as context/batch structure; TopoVelo uses space to recover a physical migration velocity (μm/h). “Spatial” ≠ physical-time. See spatial-velocity.
