Transport operators

Transport operator 指把 cell-state 沿 dynamics 從一個分布/時間點搬到另一個的算子(可看成 flow / pushforward 的線性或學習版)。FlowVelo 的 framing 用 transport operator / flow-matching 取代 inferred consensus clock,目標是讓 dynamics 帶可解釋的時間。技術細節 待補(FlowVelo manuscript ingest 後)。

Definition

An operator that pushes a cell-state distribution forward along inferred dynamics (a learned/linear realization of a flow or pushforward map). In the FlowVelo framing, transport operators / flow-matching replace an inferred consensus clock so that dynamics can carry a physically interpretable time.

NOTE: placeholder — formalize (operator definition, how it encodes time, link to optimal-transport / Koopman-style operators) once FlowVelo material is ingested.
